Depressed-center grinding wheels are resin-bonded conventional abrasive wheels for portable grinding, weld preparation and stock removal. The current verified range includes 100 mm wheels. Wheel diameter, thickness, bore, abrasive specification, hardness, reinforcement and maximum operating speed must match the grinder, workpiece material and intended operation. Product selection should distinguish grinding wheels from thinner Type 41 or Type 42 cutting wheels.
